Letter: Another ENT-Hospitalist

by Stanley E. Dudek, MD • April 27, 2011

Another ENT-Hospitalist

Regarding the article, “Otolaryngologist Pioneers New Practice Model: Dr. Russell heralds hospitalist role as others ponder the concept’s staying power” (ENT Today, March 2011), I have been working as an ENT-hospitalist since September 2007. I am not sure I would have wanted to do this right out of residency. It helps to have a lot of experience because the patients I see are the sickest in the hospital and I see a lot of unusual cases.
