At this year’s Triological Society Annual Meeting, which will be held during the Combined Otolaryngology Spring Meetings May 20-21 in Chicago, the TRIO will conduct a Twitter chat that will focus on highlights from the days’ panel discussions.
“The purpose of the Twitter chat is to offer real-time audience engagement during the educational event,” said Michael Johns, MD, chair of the Triological Social Media Committee. “Share your thoughts and opinions, follow and participate in the discussion throughout the meeting.” Search for #Triological on Twitter to follow the discussion. Make sure to add #Triological to your posts so that they will be included in the conversation.
The Social Media Committee was formed in 2015 to enhance and expand the organization’s online community and to foster discussion among members of the field of otolaryngology. Specifically, through the TRIO’s Facebook page and Twitter feed, the group aims to provide an interactive venue for discussion, information, and education regarding all aspects of otolaryngology, for otolaryngologists and other healthcare providers with an interest in diseases of the ear, nose, and throat. The information featured on these platforms includes the latest information on TRIO events, need-to-know articles from the society’s publications The Laryngoscope, ENTtoday, and Laryngoscope Investigative Otolaryngology, in addition to links to news items and other information valuable to your practice.
