The Triological Society is Growing in Ethnic and Gender Diversity as Well as Thesis Acceptance

Results showed a steady increase in thesis acceptance rates, almost tripling from the 1990 to 1994 period to the 2015 to 2019 period.

Reliance on Exam Scores in Residency Applicant Selection Restricts Diversity in Otolaryngology

Strict adherence to USMLE scores may lead to disproportionally low recruitment of applicants who are female, >30 years of age, underrepresented minorities, and from institutions without an otolaryngology residency program.
